The purpose of the class is to provide administrative support to attorneys of the office by ensuring the cases are prepared for court. In this capacity, this class updates the case management system to make sure that cases for prosecution are scheduled identical to the court's schedule. This position also includes producing criminal histories. This position does not have telework or remote work opportunities.

  • This is a a part time position. Candidates with experience in local government, court services, law firms, prosecutors offices or similar fields are preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or successful completion of the GED;
  • One (1) year of experience in direct customer service or receptionist work.
  • One (1) year of clerical experience preferably in a local government environment.
  • Must successfully pass a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion.

Additional Requirements

  • Requires proficiency in the use of the personal computer and software programs to include word processing, database management and spreadsheets.
  • Some knowledge of community organizations, procedures and policies preferred; thorough knowledge of office terminology, procedures, and equipment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently; ability to foster effective working relationships with diverse populations and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
