Law Firm seeks a motivated multitasker to join its Legal Secretary team. The ideal candidate:
* Is a team player, willing to jump in and help others, as needed;
* Proficient in the following job duties, which include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and serving litigation related documents, such as answers, discovery demands and responses, motions, etc.;
- E-filing in NY State, Federal and Appellate Courts;
- Drafting and/or reviewing/revising correspondence, reports, etc.;
- Communicating with adversaries and courts as needed; transcribing attorney dictations; and
- Light calendaring as needed.
* Knowledge of preparing Tables of Authorities through MS Word is ideal.
* Proficiency with MS Word is a must.
* Knowledge of ProLaw is helpful.
