Summary
Under general supervision, is responsible for performing a variety of legal secretarial and complex clerical duties. Performs a variety of support tasks including providing full clerical, administrative and general office support for attorneys. Serves the general public on legal matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Four (4) full-time years legal or related work experience. Associate's degree or paralegal certificate may substitute for two (2) years of required experience.
Ability to operate standard office machines, good communication, public relations and math skills.
Knowledge of criminal justice system and legal terminology preferred. Must be keyboard proficient.

While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to bend, carry, climb stairs, grasp/squeeze, hear, keyboard, kneel, lift below the waist, lift between waist and shoulder, lift overhead, lift to the side/twist, tolerate noise, pull, push, reach, reach overhead, perform repetitive tasks, see color, see near, sit, stand, stoop, talk, twist, use his/her hands, walk, work alone and with others, and work overtime.
