    Description

    Legal Recruiting Coordinator / Lateral Recruiting Coordinator Essential Functions
    • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all candidate-related information throughout the recruitment process.
    • Partner with recruiting leadership and internal stakeholders to discuss hiring needs, open positions, and recruitment strategies.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of company services, organizational structure, key stakeholders, and practice areas.
    • Manage search firm relationships, fee agreements, and documentation processes.
    • Post job descriptions on company career sites, job boards, and other recruiting platforms as needed.
    • Coordinate and schedule virtual and onsite interviews between hiring leaders and candidates across multiple locations.
    • Provide a professional candidate experience by assisting with onsite interviews and candidate logistics.
    • Collect, organize, and distribute interview feedback in a timely manner.
    • Maintain accurate candidate records and update recruiting databases/ATS systems to reflect candidate status.
    • Support all aspects of early-career and university recruiting initiatives, including application review, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding activities.
    • Coordinate registrations and participation in recruiting events, networking events, and university programs.
    • Review and organize applicant materials from ATS platforms for recruiting team review.
    • Build relationships with university career centers, candidates, and external recruiting partners.
    • Assist with recruiting events, including vendor coordination, scheduling, and logistics.
    • Support planning and execution of internship and associate development programs, including orientations, training sessions, assignments, and events.
    • Participate in professional recruiting organizations and industry events.
    • Manage interview-related travel arrangements and candidate logistics as needed.
    • Process recruiting-related invoices and administrative documentation.
    Required Skills & Abilities
    • Knowledge of recruiting processes, best practices, and candidate management workflows.
    • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with leadership, hiring managers, candidates, and internal teams.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize workload, adapt to changing needs, and manage competing deadlines.
    • High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling confidential information.
    • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent needs.
    • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
    Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 2+ years of recruiting experience within a law firm, professional services organization, corporate environment, or similar setting.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
    • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms preferred.
    • Experience coordinating high-touch recruiting processes preferred.
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
    • Occasional standing, walking, and movement throughout an office environment.
    • Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
