Legal Practice Assistant (Litigation)

Seattle, WA | Hybrid (4 Days In-Office / 1 Day Remote)

Full-Time | Direct Hire

Salary Range: $75,000 $110,000 annually (May extend up to $115,000 for highly qualified candidates)

Bonus: Annual discretionary bonus typically 24%

LHH is working with a growing law firm who is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to support a busy litigation practice. This is a newly created position designed to support multiple attorneys in a collaborative, high-performing office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize exhibits, hearing binders, and document productions

  • Handle state and federal court e-filing (required)

  • Schedule depositions and coordinate litigation logistics

  • Draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence

  • Manage attorney calendars, email, phone calls, and travel arrangements

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems

  • Assist with new matter intake, conflict checks, and engagement letters

  • Process time entry and support billing tasks

  • Respond promptly to client and attorney requests in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal support experience in a litigation environment

  • At least 23 years supporting attorneys at a large law firm strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience with state and federal court e-filing

  • Strong litigation background (any practice area considered)

  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and deadline management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Word skills preferred)

  • Experience with iManage strongly preferred (trainable)

  • Notary Public status is a plus

Work Schedule

  • 37.5-hour work week

  • Core hours: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM

  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office / 1 day remote
