Imprimis Group is seeking an experienced Executive Legal Assistant to support the Managing Partner of our client, a prestigious and well-established law firm in the Galleria area of Dallas. This highly visible role requires an exceptionally polished, proactive, and resourceful professional with the ability to anticipate needs, manage shifting priorities, and operate as a true right hand within a fast-paced litigation environment.

This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role — it is an opportunity to become an integral part of the leadership support team, working closely alongside the Managing Partner and his long-time Executive Legal Secretary to help drive efficiency, responsiveness, and organization across a demanding legal practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor and manage the Managing Partner’s high-volume email communications throughout the day
  • Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, hearings, mediations, travel schedules, and daily priorities
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Managing Partner, clients, attorneys, court personnel, opposing counsel, and internal departments
  • Prepare conference rooms, Zoom meetings, phone conferences, hearing materials, laptops, and briefing documents
  • Ensure the Managing Partner is fully prepared for meetings, hearings, mediations, and travel
  • Travel locally with the Managing Partner to hearings, mediations, depositions, and meetings as needed
  • Assist with organizing legal files, exhibits, presentations, and supporting documentation
  • Handle urgent requests and critical communications quickly, professionally, and discreetly
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner’s Executive Legal Secretary and litigation teams to ensure seamless daily operations
  • Assist with client intake coordination and ongoing client communication
  • Manage shifting priorities while remaining calm, detail-oriented, and highly responsive
  • Help protect and manage the Managing Partner’s time by anticipating needs and proactively solving problems
  • Provide overflow administrative support to additional attorneys and departments when needed
  • Work overtime as necessary, including occasional evenings and limited overnight travel

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or high-level administrative support experience required
  • Prior experience supporting attorneys, executives, or managing partners strongly preferred
  • Litigation or legal industry experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with impeccable professionalism
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn legal software and systems
  • Experience with legal document management systems such as Hummingbird eDocs, PACER, ProDoc eFiling, Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Professional appearance and adherence to firm dress code standards required

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to stay two steps ahead at all times
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, high-pressure legal environment
  • Strong sense of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and remain composed under pressure
  • Service-oriented mentality with strong client relationship skills
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally throughout the firm
  • Comfortable with occasional schedule flexibility and variable overtime needs

If you thrive in a hands-on executive support role, enjoy being the go-to person in a fast-moving environment, and take pride in anticipating needs before they arise, we invite you to apply and become a key part of this highly respected legal leadership team.
