This position will assist in the build of the U.S. commercial law function by becoming an elite member of a team designed to be the go-to legal partner to a dynamic group of business stakeholders.WHAT YOULL DOHere are just a few ways that youll help make journeys better Draft negotiate and review a variety of domestic and international commercial agreements including marketing merchandising manufacture transportation supply chain technology licensing fuel consulting and other operational agreements.Provide practical solutions-based legal counsel to various national and international business stakeholders on a wide variety of legal and business issues.Assist in the creation implementation and refinement of forms processes procedures and systems to support the effective delivery of enterprise commercial legal support.Work cross-functionally with teams across the company to analyze legal risks devise creative solutions and develop trusted advisor relationships.Educate business partners with regard to key legal risk competition compliance data privacy and regulatory considerations both in day-to-day interactions and in structured training sessions.Maintain an understanding of Circle Ks strategic objectives products and services.Monitor and communicate legal developments that would impact the companys business lines to proactively help business partners see around corners".WHAT YOULL NEED We want you to join our team Heres what were looking forREQUIREMENTSBar admission and license to practice to law in the U.S. member in good standing.EDUCATIONJuris Doctor from an accredited law school. Bar admission and license to practice law in the U.S. member in good standing.JOB EXPERIENCE3- 5 years of experience in-house and law firm.Experience in structuring drafting reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements and identifying key issues and risks preferably with experience in general commercial transactions and business counseling.
