Description
- Provide advice on various legal matters and perform legal review of contracts and other legal documents
- Draft and review internal standard form documentation and manage the use of the standard form documentation
- Manage and coordinate with external counsel when necessary
- Assist with litigation and disputes, particularly on non-performing credit asset workouts;
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and advise on legal risks associated with deals
- Advise on the Bank's legal issues, services and more
- Assist with special projects as needed
Profile
- JD
- Admitted to NY State Bar
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts for a bank, related to credit, financing transactions, commercial lending, loan documents, commercial credit documents, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player
- Fluency in Mandarin
