Legal Counsel role supporting investment bank's global markets business.Client DetailsGlobal investment bank.DescriptionProvide ongoing legal guidance to U.S.-based corporate lending and investment banking teams across products including investment‑grade lending, leveraged and acquisition finance, project and infrastructure finance, and M&A advisory services.Support trade finance activities on a secondary basis, including letters of credit and working capital solutions.Advise on the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of a broad range of corporate and investment banking documentation, including commitment letters, syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, reimbursement and letter of credit agreements, guarantees, intercreditor and security arrangements, M&A engagement letters, legal opinions, confidentiality agreements, disclaimers, and non‑reliance letters.Serve as a U.S. legal resource for regional and international stakeholders, including teams operating across Latin America, on transactions with U.S. regulatory or legal considerations.Collaborate closely with business, risk, compliance, and operations partners to structure transactions, develop products, and implement effective legal and regulatory risk management processes.Provide legal support for the development, launch, and execution of strategic initiatives and priority projects.Assist in the creation, refinement, and maintenance of standardized client‑facing legal templates and documentation.Promote a client‑focused approach that strengthens relationships and supports coordinated delivery across broader institutional platforms and capabilities.Advise front‑office teams and corporate functions on the legal aspects of new business initiatives, product launches, and strategic changes.
