    Direct Hire Legal Assistant opportunity!

    Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Assistant to join a dynamic Litigation Department in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process.

    The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation
    • Preparing, formatting, proofreading, and revising correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents
    • Filing documents electronically and in paper form with state and federal courts, as required
    • Maintaining and organizing client files, case records, and litigation documents
    • Managing attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, and court deadlines
    • Assisting with discovery management, document production, trial preparation, and case organization
    • Communicating professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and other third parties
    • Preparing exhibits, witness files, deposition binders, and hearing or trial materials
    • Entering and maintaining time records and billing information
    • Performing general administrative duties and providing additional support to the litigation team as needed

    Experience:

    • Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar legal support role preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
    • Familiarity with legal terminology, litigation procedures, court systems, and electronic filing platforms preferred
    • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team
    • Professional judgment, discretion, and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality
