We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Assistant to support Employment Law attorneys within a collaborative, employment law-focused practice. Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to attorneys specializing in employment law and civil litigation
Manage complex calendaring, including court deadlines, filings, and key case milestones
Assist with litigation processes, including document preparation, filings, and case organization
Support trial preparation, including coordinating materials and logistics
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Maintain and organize case files and documentation
Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and external partners as needed
Contribute to a positive and collaborative office environment
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a law firm setting
Experience supporting employment law and/or civil litigation attorneys
Strong knowledge of law firm calendaring and court deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Paralegal certification
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
