Legal Assistant/Receptionist

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Assistant to support our growing legal team in our Sarasota office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Join our clients' respected firm and contribute to our mission of providing personalized, professional legal services. In this role, you will provide crucial support to both attorneys and support staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our firm. This individual will handle a variety of tasks, ranging from administrative to client facing duties.

Responsibilities:

-Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
-Scheduling and calendaring for the firm.
-Filing as needed.
-Keep front desk organized and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.).
-Greet and welcome guests.
-Receive letters, packages etc. and sort them.
-Assist with general clerical and legal tasks for firm, as needed.

Qualifications:

-Previous office experience required.
-Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
-Highly organized multitasker who works well independently in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent time management and communication skills.
-Willingness to learn and to grow with the company.
-Strong work ethic, a positive attitude and reliability.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Compensation and Benefits:

Offering $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time, on-site only

8 hour shift (8:30am-5:00pm)

Monday to Friday
