    Now Hiring: Legal Assistant – Personal Injury / Defense Litigation
    Location: Los Angeles, California
    Work Arrangement: IN-OFFICE – Full-Time
    Salary: $75,000+ per year
    Experience Required: 3–5 Years
    About the Role
    We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join a law firm in Los Angeles, California. This is a 100% in-office position, ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with 3–5 years of experience supporting attorneys in either plaintiff-side (PLF) or defense-side (DEF) litigation.
    The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. We are looking for someone who understands litigation procedures, can provide reliable support to attorneys, and takes pride in keeping cases organized and moving forward.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys throughout the litigation process.
    • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and other case-related materials.
    • Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, coordinate meetings, and track important deadlines.
    • Assist with discovery, including preparing, organizing, and tracking discovery requests and responses.
    • Maintain and organize electronic case files, ensuring documents are accurate and easily accessible.
    • Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
    • Assist with court filings, e-filing, and docket management.
    • Monitor case deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks to keep matters progressing efficiently.
    • Conduct legal research and assist with gathering information and documentation as needed.
    • Provide general administrative support to attorneys and the legal team.
    Qualifications
    • 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.
    • Prior experience working in a plaintiff-side (PLF) or defense-side (DEF) law firm is required.
    • Familiarity with litigation procedures, court filings, discovery, and case management.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal staff.
    • Must be willing and able to work in the Los Angeles office five days a week.
    Compensation & Work Environment
    • Salary starting at $75,000+ per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
    • Full-time, in-office position in Los Angeles, California.
