A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support its Labor & Employment litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a variety of employment-related matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience, with prior Labor & Employment exposure highly preferred. This role supports multiple attorneys and requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Key Responsibilities
Manage docketing and calendaring to ensure deadlines are met
Prepare, proofread, and redline legal documents and correspondence
Handle state and federal court filings
Coordinate meetings, including Teams/Zoom/Outlook invites
Prepare trial/hearing binders and exhibits
Schedule court reporters and videographers
Assist with document production (bates labeling, redactions)
Prepare discovery shells and other pleadings
Support administrative tasks including conflicts checks, engagement letters, and expense reports
Assist with drafting and general litigation support
Qualifications
3+ years of legal assistant experience in a law firm
2+ years of Labor & Employment experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (iManage preferred)
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office / 1 day remote after 90 days
