Position Overview
This role combines Legal
Assistant responsibilities with Office Administration oversight.
Youll support attorneys with litigation tasks while also managing the daily
operations of a smaller office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Assistant Duties
Support attorneys in plaintiff personal injury
litigation matters
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents,
correspondence, and filings
Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
and track critical deadlines
Maintain and manage case calendars, deadlines,
and court schedules
Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial
preparation materials
Assist with trial prep, including organizing
exhibits and case files
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing
counsel as needed
Office Administration
Duties
Oversee day-to-day office operations for a
satellite location
Manage office supplies, vendors, and general
facility needs
Serve as the point of contact for
visitors, calls, and internal coordination
Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and
meeting coordination
Support overall team efficiency by anticipating
needs and problem-solving
Qualifications
3-7 years of Legal Assistant experience (Plaintiff Personal Injury strongly preferred)
Experience with litigation support, e-filing,
and docket management
Strong knowledge of state and federal court
procedures and deadlines
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism, discretion, and
attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal document
formatting
