ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
THE ROLE
Under general supervision, provides legal and administrative support to the City Attorney - Criminal Division offices; provides specialized confidential support with responsibilities in all phases of criminal prosecution, recording keeping, and file retention, such as but not restricted to complaint drafting, management of case files, motion prescreening, document preparation, legal motion filing, discovery procedures and requirements, and legal research.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has experience supporting criminal litigation through legal document preparation, case management, discovery coordination, and meeting strict court deadlines. The successful candidate communicates effectively, exercises sound judgment, takes initiative, and is committed to providing outstanding support to attorneys, colleagues, and the public.
