Scion Staffing is conducting a search for a part-time Legal Assistant on behalf of a family law firm in Farmington Hills, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced family law legal assistant looking for a flexible schedule while supporting a busy and collaborative legal practice.

• Onsite, part-time schedule, 3 days a week, 24 hours per week

What You Will Do

• Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic and physical client files
• Name, scan, copy, and file legal documents accurately
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments and assist with attorney calendars
• Draft routine correspondence and legal forms
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed
• Maintain organized case files and ensure documents are filed promptly
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and the legal team

What You Bring

• Previous legal assistant experience
• Prior family law experience required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

• $30-35/hr.
