Legal Assistant – Family Law & Probate – Fairfield County, CT

We are working with a well-established Connecticut law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to join its Fairfield County office. This position will support attorneys handling Family Law and Probate matters, and is well suited to someone earlier in their career who is looking to grow within the role.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 3–5 years of legal assistant experience, ideally with exposure to Family Law and/or Probate practice areas. This individual should be organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take on increasing responsibility over time.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3–5 years of legal assistant experience (additional experience welcome)
• Experience supporting Family Law and/or Probate matters preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing calendars, correspondence, and filings in a fast-paced office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize competing deadlines
• Interest in growing professionally within a traditional legal assistant role

Compensation:

Salary range: $55,000–$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
