A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Business Litigation team in Dallas. Position Overview This role provides comprehensive legal and administrative support, including document preparation, e-filing, calendaring, billing coordination, and client interaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, including briefs, TOC/TOA, and correspondence
Manage state and federal court filings and docket deadlines
Maintain calendars and coordinate meetings, travel, and client communications
Handle time entry, billing coordination, and expense processing
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
Support new matter intake, conflicts checks, and engagement letters
Assist attorneys with research, client requests, and administrative needs
Qualifications
3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm
Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and e-filing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), including TOC/TOA
Experience with document management systems
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
