GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Natrona County District Attorneys Office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the Felony and/or Misdemeanor Unit. This position plays a critical role in supporting the units attorneys and ensuring the seamless processing of legal documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle a high volume of paperwork with accuracy, and is committed to upholding the standards of professionalism required in legal proceedings.

Education:
Bachelors Degree (typically in Paralegal/Legal Studies)
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Paralegal /Legal Studies) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Legal Support Specialist
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Paralegal /Legal Studies) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Legal Support Specialist
OR
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
National Association of Legal Assistants certificate as a CLA or ALS (Certified Legal Assistant) or CP (Certified Paralegal) or National Federation of Paralegal Association PACE Registered Paralegal
