This role is with a consistently top ranked Big Law firm. The San Francisco office is a smaller office, so the ideal candidate is very collaborative, dynamic, and has experience supporting Partners directly.
Coordinate schedules and manage calendars for attorneys and legal teams. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence. Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and electronic. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls. Assist with billing, timekeeping, and expense reporting. Arrange travel plans and logistics for attorneys as needed. Support legal research and document retrieval tasks. Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.

A successful Legal Administrative Assistant should have: Experience supporting Partners directly, ideally in a Big Law environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various administrative tasks effectively. Proficiency with legal documentation and familiarity with legal terminology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work. Experience with scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangements. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
