Litigation Administrative Assistant (Commercial Business Defense)
Location: Downtown San Diego, CA Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 30-minute lunch) Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 annually + benefits

We are a prestigious Am Law 100 firm seeking a highly skilled Litigation Administrative Assistant to join our collaborative team in our downtown San Diego office. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals across all phases of litigation
Prepare, revise, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents
Perform electronic filing (e-filing) in State and Federal courts
Coordinate travel arrangements and process monthly expense reports
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and supporting attorneys during trial as needed
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and outside counsel
Conduct conflict checks and assist with opening new client and matter engagements
Maintain and organize electronic files and document management systems
Support billing processes, including time entry, invoicing, and client billing setup
Update and maintain client and contact databases
Handle additional administrative and clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years of recent litigation experience in a law firm environment
Strong State and Federal e-filing experience (required)
Experience supporting attorneys in commercial business defense and civil litigation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
High level of professionalism and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with document management systems, docketing systems, and billing/time entry software preferred
