Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The Lecturer-Pool Faculty will teach graduate courses within the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, depending on an applicant's academic background, experience, and licensure. Pool faculty contracts are for one semester based on departmental needs but may be renewed based on performance and need. Departmental need is driven by student enrollment and internal workload commitments.
Educational Requirements for the Position
All candidates should possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member. Must have knowledge and the ability to comply with accreditation standards related to evaluation and assessment. Physician Assistant with the following:
Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program.
Current NCCPA certification
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Current license or eligibility for licensing as a physician assistant in the State of Texas.

Physician with the following:

Non-clinician Scientist or Health Professional with the following:
