The leave coverage will be from approximately October 20 - December 18, 2026.Qualifications:1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator Licence with appropriate endorsement. 3. ELL/ESL Endorsement is preferred. 4. Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred.District Information:District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school. Compensation Information:District 62 substitute teachers earn $165 per day if they hold an Illinois PEL and $155 per day if the hold a substitute license. Annual bonuses are given based on the number of days worked.
