The Position: The Leave Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administration of employee leave of absence programs and providing high-quality service to employees and internal partners. This role coordinates leave cases with internal teams and third-party administrators, helps ensure accurate pay and benefit deductions during leave, maintains accurate records, and supports selected benefit team initiatives and employee service through effective communication, confidentiality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications
YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in HR, leave administration, benefits administration, payroll, or a related employee services role.
Experience administering employee leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, state leave programs) preferred.
Experience providing customer service in a confidential, compliance-driven environment.
Skills: Working knowledge of leave of absence regulations, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, and applicable state laws.
Understanding of payroll systems, processes, and benefit deductions.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive employee data and legal documentation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and legal documents and apply them consistently.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, on-site HR practitioners and external agencies.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, regulations, and business needs.

The expected salary range for this role is $47,401 - $88,708 per year.
