Description

Leave of Absence Administrator (Bilingual Spanish)
Location: Fountain Valley, CA (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
Assignment Length: 3-6 Months (Potential for Extension)
Pay: $30-$35/hour DOE

We're partnering with a well-established organization in Fountain Valley seeking a Bilingual Spanish Leave of Absence Administrator to support employees and managers through the leave process, accommodations, disability programs, and return-to-work coordination.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience administering leave programs including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, disability claims, and state leave programs. Benefits administration experience is a plus, but candidates with strong leave administration experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, personal leaves, military leave, and state leave programs
  • Coordinate leave requests, extensions, return-to-work processes, and employee communications
  • Administer and track disability claims, including Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and state disability programs
  • Support the ADA interactive process and employee accommodation requests
  • Maintain accurate leave, accommodation, and employee records
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding leave policies and procedures
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, status changes, and terminations
  • Partner with carriers, vendors, and third-party administrators to address employee questions and issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company leave policies and regulations

Qualifications
Required

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 3+ years of leave administration experience
  • Hands-on experience managing FMLA, CFRA, ADA, disability claims, and return-to-work processes
  • Strong knowledge of California leave laws and related regulations
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information

Preferred

  • Employee benefits administration experience
  • Experience with HRIS, benefits, or payroll systems
  • Multi-state leave administration experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
