The Leave Administration & Compliance Program Manager is a member of HR Shared Services team who is responsible for managing the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization's leave of absence and accommodation programs. The role also oversees designated HR compliance activities, including employment eligibility administration, required training, audits, and regulatory process updates. In addition, the position provides program leadership and operational support for other HR Shared Services priorities based on business need.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
Leave Administration
Support the administration and governance of federal, state, local, and company leave programs
Serve as the first escalation point for complex leave, disability, accommodation, and employment eligibility matters
Interpret requirements and translate them into consistent processes, documentation standards, and employee or manager guidance
Coordinate with Employee Relations, Legal, Benefits, Payroll, HR partners, and vendors to ensure alignment on processes, requirements and hand-offs
Monitor case trends, service quality, controls, and program risks
Support policy, system, process, and vendor improvements affecting leave administration
HR Compliance
Support assigned HR compliance programs and recurring administrative requirements
Perform audits, remediation activities, documentation controls, and regulatory implementation
Monitor relevant regulatory changes and assess operational impact
Develop procedures, communications, training, and readiness plans
Escalate compliance risks and recommend practical corrective actions
Establishes program measures, monitors service quality and compliance trends, and uses reports & data to inform on operations, risks, recurring issues, and opportunities for operational improvement.
Leads or contributes to other HR Shared Services initiatives involving policy administration, employee support, service delivery, process governance, systems, controls, or regulatory readiness, based on organizational priorities.

In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $54,000 to $103,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
