Leasing Manager
Location: Dearborn, MI
Salary: $48,000-$53,000 annually

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Leasing Manager to lead leasing and marketing efforts for a community in Dearborn, MI.
The ideal candidate is a confident sales leader who knows how to motivate a leasing team, convert qualified traffic, improve resident retention, and help a community achieve its occupancy goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching others, building relationships, and taking ownership of leasing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support the leasing team in meeting daily and monthly leasing goals
- Conduct property tours, follow up with prospects, and help close leases
- Monitor leasing activity, renewal progress, closing ratios, and occupancy
- Ensure lease applications, files, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate
- Audit lease files for compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach campaigns that generate qualified traffic
- Assist with the annual marketing plan and budget
- Maintain current knowledge of the local market, competing properties, pricing, and availability
- Complete market surveys and recommend strategies based on current conditions
- Plan leasing, renewal, and resident-retention events
- Respond professionally to resident questions, requests, and concerns
- Maintain a polished leasing office, accurate marketing materials, and strong property appearance
- Partner closely with the Property Manager on staffing, operations, customer service, and community performance
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of leasing or property management experience
- Previous multifamily housing experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated sales, closing, follow-up, and customer-service skills
- Experience leading, training, or motivating a leasing team
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing lease files and documentation
- Comfortable learning and using property management and leasing software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, dependable, professional, and results-driven
- Ability to balance leasing performance with positive resident relations
