Leasing Consultant (Tax Credit Experience Preferred)

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for an affordable housing community in South Pasadena, FL 33707. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC), Low-Income Housing programs, and Yardi software and be passionate about providing exceptional customer service while helping prospective residents find their next home.

Responsibilities:

• Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours
• Process rental applications and complete leasing paperwork
• Assist with recertifications and resident file management in compliance with LIHTC and affordable housing regulations
• Maintain occupancy goals through effective leasing and resident retention efforts
• Utilize Yardi software for resident records, reporting, and lease management
• Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident communications
• Ensure resident files and property records are accurate and up to date
• Support the management team with daily administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous Leasing Consultant experience preferred
• Experience with Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties required
• Experience with Low-Income Housing programs required
• Proficiency in Yardi required
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and leasing procedures
• Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
