Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday availability based on leasing needs.

Wingate Management Company is looking for a Leasing Consultant / Assistant Property Manager to join our 136-unit Class B market-rate community in Brookline, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the sales and customer service side of leasing but also wants exposure to the operational side of property management.

What You'll Do:

  • Welcome prospective residents, conduct property tours, respond to leasing inquiries, follow up with leads, and help move applicants through the leasing process.
  • Build strong relationships with current residents, answer questions, assist with concerns, and help create a positive resident experience.
  • Support the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations, resident communication, paperwork, reporting, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Assist with lease paperwork, renewals, resident files, move-ins, move-outs, and other leasing documentation while maintaining accurate records.
  • Help support leasing and occupancy goals through timely follow-up, strong customer service, and an understanding of what prospective residents are looking for.
  • Work closely with the property management and maintenance teams and pitch in where needed to keep the community running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is professional, personable, organized, and comfortable working with people. You should be able to balance leasing, resident needs, administrative responsibilities, and follow-up while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and learning property management software.
  • OneSite/RealPage experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work occasional Saturdays based on leasing needs.

Pay & Benefits

$28-$30 per hour, based on experience.
