Wingate Management Company is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team at Carleton East in Lanham, MD. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service, sales, leasing, hospitality, or property management experience who enjoys a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Welcome prospective residents, conduct property tours, and assist throughout the leasing process.
- Respond to leasing inquiries, follow up with prospects, and help convert leads into new residents.
- Process applications, leasing paperwork, renewals, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist with resident questions, concerns, move-ins, and general property operations.
- Support leasing and occupancy goals while maintaining organized and accurate resident and prospect information.
What We're Looking For
- Previous leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and follow-up responsibilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning property management and leasing software.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
