BG Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and professional Leasing Consultant to join a thriving apartment community in Asbury Park, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused property management professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced leasing office environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Position Details

• Position: Leasing Consultant
• Location: Asbury Park, NJ 07712
• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents while supporting the day-to-day operations of the leasing office. Responsibilities include:

• Answering and directing incoming phone calls professionally
• Greeting prospective residents and providing exceptional customer service
• Assisting with leasing activities, tours, and resident relations
• Accepting and processing rental applications
• Maintaining accurate resident and applicant files
• Responding to resident inquiries and office correspondence
• Supporting administrative functions within the property management office
• Assisting with lease documentation and compliance requirements
• Entering and maintaining data within property management software systems
• Collaborating with site staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous leasing and/or administrative experience in the multifamily housing industry
• Experience with HUD and Tax Credit properties strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of OneSite property management software preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy office environment
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused work ethic
