Affordable Housing Leasing Agent – Full-Time

Starting at $16.00/hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

At Premier Property Management, our mission is to create neighborhoods where everyone wants to live—and no one wants to leave. We are seeking a full time, leasing agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent service to both current and prospective residents.

This role places a strong emphasis on leasing and resident interaction, so we're looking for someone who excels in relationship-building and thrives in a fast-paced, resident-first environment. Candidates must also me able to walk and stand for extended periods while touring the property, conducting inspections, and supporting site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with  leasing and marketing efoorts to maintain high occupancy

  • Handle walk-in traffic and conduct apartment tours

  • Process rental applications and maintain accurate resident records

  • Support the Community Manager in daily operations and compliance tasks

  • Coordinate resident move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnovers

  • Help ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and other affordable housing regulations

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support resident retention efforts

  • Walk the property regularly to ensure curb appeal and market-readiness of units

  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in affordable housing or property management

  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs

  • Prior leasing experience required

  • Proficiency in Boston Post or similar property management software

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday

  • Team player with a customer service mindset and problem-solving attitude
