Description
The Lease-Up Manager / Property Manager is responsible for supporting the initial lease-up and occupancy of an affordable housing community. During the lease-up phase, this position will focus on coordinating leasing and compliance activities, completing initial affordable housing files, working with third-party reviewers, and helping the property meet established lease-up and occupancy goals.
Once the lease-up is complete, this position will transition into the Property Manager role for the same community. The focus will shift to the ongoing day-to-day operation of the property, including resident relations, leasing, rent collection, affordable housing compliance, property administration, and coordination with maintenance and other support teams.
This position provides the opportunity to be involved with the community from its initial lease-up and continue managing the property once it reaches stabilized occupancy.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Professional Designations: HCCP, SHCM or similar LIHTC program designation required. Designation in HUD, HOME, and/or RD programs preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years working in an affordable housing program compliance related position required. Must have a strong working knowledge of LIHTC program regulations. Prefer experience in HUD, RD, HOME and local program compliance. Prefer experience in LIHTC acquisition rehabs and lease ups. Prefer experience in Yardi Voyager 7s and/or Elevate, RightSource, RENTCafe Affordable.

Equipment: Frequently required to use a computer, mouse, keyboard, scanner, telephone, copier, and fax machine.
