Lease Operator
jade owls is a fast-growing oil & gas operator built on integrity, grit, and cash flow. Since 2022, we've grown more than 70x and currently operate 14,000 BOE/d across Northeast Wyoming and Oklahoma.
We're seeking an experienced Lease Operator to support daily field operations and production optimization.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wells, tanks, pumps, and production equipment
- Perform daily inspections to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues independently
- Measure production volumes and recommend optimization improvements
- Complete accurate daily production and equipment reports
- Prepare oil tanks for sale and coordinate oil and water hauling
- Ensure compliance with OCC, BIA, BLM, OSHA, and OK DEQ requirements
- Participate in route reviews and collaborate with Foremen and Engineering
- Maintain positive landowner and community relationships
- Provide coverage for Foremen and assist with training entry-level Operators as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Process Tech or Maintenance Tech degree preferred
- Previous oil & gas field experience preferred
- Knowledge of various well types and production equipment
- Strong safety mindset; comfortable working independently
- Reliable, driven, and team-oriented
- Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Work Environment
- Outdoor field work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment and H2S environments
- Working independently more than 80% of the time
