Overview

Microsoft Advertising is a worldwide Sales, Marketing and Operations organization on the cutting edge of the digital advertising industry. Microsoft Advertising offers a compelling portfolio of advertising products, innovative solutions and the opportunity to engage with some of the brightest minds in the digital space while contributing meaningfully to our purpose of innovating a new world of advertising possibilities to empower growth for all.

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) is seeking a Learning & Development Manager for our global sales organization and our external client audiences, with a focus on the North America region. Sitting at the intersection of learning strategy, business enablement and digital advertising, this role will translate business priorities, customer needs, and emerging technologies into practical, scalable learning experiences that build capability, support adoption, and advance business goals. This role partners with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, instructional designers, and other training experts to create learning curriculum across multiple modalities including live in-classroom, virtual webinars, on-demand courses, in addition to job aids and supporting resources.

In addition to program planning, content design, and training execution, this role will use data to evaluate relationships and trends, tell the data story, define capability gaps for the business, improve benchmarking, and drive learning priorities through learner-centric methodology. AI tools will be used to evaluate and analyze effectiveness of programs from learning survey analyses, program metrics (e.g., user satisfaction, participation in the deliverable), return on investment (ROI), behavior change, and business impact to identify key performance indicators (KPIs). This role combines experiences in learning and development methodology, learning technology, and creative content delivery via scalable, data driven efforts aligned to business needs.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
