Job Summary

Junior Instructors are responsible for assisting Senior Instructors with the education of children enrolled in Group Lessons. They must have excellent communication skills, display a genuine desire to help guests of all ages learn about snow sports, have the ability to safely ski or snowboard down a beginner slope, and enjoy working with children on snow.

• The ability to ski and/or snowboard at a beginning level or above
• Must be at least 16

Preferred

• Comfortable working with children and talking with parents to discuss progress of the child(ren) and suggestions which would continue to show improvement

Days:

• • Varies, including weekend, holidays and days public school is closed

Hours:

• • Varied hours
    • 6 to 7 hours a week

Compensation

• Pay: $13.00/Hour

Core Responsibilities

• Assist a Senior Instructor in organizing, education and keeping all children safe
• Assist with set up and take down of any terrain props are used for the day
• Assist in the Rental Department with fitting boots and helmets when not needed during lesson times
• Learn to set rental ski bindings (ages 16-17 only)
• Other duties as assigned by management
