The Learning and Development Specialist is a talent development professional with instructional design and facilitation experience. Responsibilities include conducting new hire orientation as well as designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating learning opportunities for Sarasota Memorial Health Care System employees.
Required Qualifications:- Require bachelor’s degree, master's preferred, preferably in a learning/organizational development, instructional design, adult education, or related discipline.
- Require three (3) years of experience in talent development role, classroom learning delivery and facilitation, as well as experience in instructional design following a solution-oriented approach.
- Prefer ability to be highly diplomatic in dealing with clients, even in stressful situations.
- Prefer experience in managing large group facilitations, including new hire orientation within a healthcare setting.
- Prefer a high level of professionalism in all interactions under all circumstances.
- Prefer someone who has a strong desire to learn and grow with a dynamic team and expanding organization.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to design and deliver high impact, experiential learning opportunities
