Learning and Development Specialist

Pay: $26.44 - $27.40/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• Stetson School is seeking an experienced and motivated Learning and Development Specialist to support the design, coordination, and delivery of high-quality training and professional development initiatives.
• Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring staff are well-prepared, well-trained, and supported through comprehensive orientation, ongoing education, and enrichment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of staff training and continuing education programs
• Organize, coordinate, and conduct new employee orientation programs in collaboration with Human Resources
• Conduct training needs assessments and design, develop, and evaluate learning and development solutions
• Partner with subject matter experts to create, pilot, and refine training initiatives
• Acquire, coordinate, and develop learning materials that meet organizational needs and regulatory standards
• Coordinate conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures, and other learning events that support the mission of Stetson School and its affiliates
• Maintain accurate training records, documentation, and updates within the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Serve as a liaison with affiliate partners to assess needs and deliver appropriate learning solutions
• Obtain and maintain certifications required to teach mandated courses
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Bachelor degree required
• Standard driver's license - class C or class D
• No license required for this position

• 5 - 10 years of related experience
