Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a standardized Lean Academy curriculum aligned with operational, clinical, and public health contexts.
  • Facilitate structured Lean Academy cohorts and instructional sessions using blended in-person and virtual models.
  • Coach participants through applied Lean A3 projects aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Support leadership capability development and executive sponsorship of Lean practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, including text, tabular, and graphic presentations for performance reporting.
  • Communicate efficiently and proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all training materials and documentation meet standards for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in program evaluation and project management practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of public health practices, including translational research, community-based participatory practices, and practice-to-change approaches.
  • Knowledge of organizational systems and policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site at the DC Department of Health office.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience working with Government of the District of Columbia agencies.
  • Advanced presentation skills using graphic and tabular data visualization tools.
