    Description

    Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Lean/Six Sigma Consultant for a position in Corpus Christi, TX.

    • Confirm engagement objectives, priority processes, stakeholders, process owners, governance cadence, and required data.
    • Review available process documentation, work activity information, performance measures, systems, reports, pain points, and prior improvement efforts.
    • Develop an engagement charter, stakeholder map, detailed work plan, data request, assumptions log, and issue and decision log.
    • Establish current-state baselines and document material data limitations or control gaps.
    • Facilitate value stream mapping workshops for prioritized end-to-end portfolio and PMO processes.
    • Document suppliers, inputs, process steps, outputs, customers, roles, systems, handoffs, queues, cycle time, touch time, defects, rework, controls, and decision points.
    • Identify waste, delays, constraints, duplicate activities, manual effort, missing handoffs, unclear ownership, and opportunities for automation or notification.
    • Validate current-state maps and create a quantified opportunity register with process owners and stakeholders.
    • Perform structured root cause analysis using appropriate techniques such as 5 Whys, fishbone analysis, Pareto analysis, cause-and-effect matrices, process observation, and data validation.
    • Separate symptoms from verified causes and document supporting evidence, assumptions, constraints, and unresolved data gaps.
    • Prioritize causes based on business impact, frequency, risk, controllability, and feasibility of improvement.
    • Develop corrective and preventive action recommendations with proposed owners and measures.
    • Develop a tiered process architecture and process inventory for the portfolio and PMO.
    • Define process ownership, roles, decision rights, RACI, review cadence, escalation, exception management, document control, and process change control.
    • Develop standard process documentation and templates that can be maintained by process owners.
    • Define business requirements for potential Microsoft-based workflow, dashboard, notification, and automation solutions; technology design and development are excluded unless separately authorized.
    • Define selected improvement problems, scope, customers, critical requirements, goals, baselines, and project charters.
    • Measure current performance and validate data definitions, collection methods, and baseline capability.
    • Analyze verified causes and develop future-state alternatives.
    • Improve through solution design, prioritization, pilots, standard work, training, and implementation planning.
    • Control through KPIs, control plans, governance, audits, visual management, response plans, and transition to process owners.
    • Develop a sequenced transformation roadmap with quick wins, pilots, dependencies, resource needs, risks, owners, and expected benefits.
    • Support approved pilots and process changes, including stakeholder facilitation, adoption planning, training, and benefits tracking.
    • Transfer methods, templates, and process ownership to PMO personnel so improvements can be sustained after the engagement.

    Required Qualifications

    ? Two experienced Lean / Six Sigma process improvement resources able to work as an integrated team.

    ? At least one resource must hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification; Master Black Belt certification is preferred for the lead resource.

    ? The second resource must hold at least a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; Black Belt certification is preferred.

    ? Demonstrated experience conducting value stream mapping, root cause analysis, DMAIC, process design, and continuous improvement across complex cross-functional processes.

    ? Demonstrated Business Process Management experience, including process architecture, process ownership, governance, process modeling, RACI, controls, and standard work.

    ? Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, written communication, data analysis, and executive presentation skills.

    ? Experience within program management offices, capital construction, utility, infrastructure, finance, planning, engineering, or operations environments preferred.

    ? Experience defining workflow, dashboard, notification, and automation business requirements in Microsoft 365 environments preferred.
