    ? Plans basic Lean Sigma projects, including budgets;

    ? Leads Lean Sigma projects that will produce significant cost savings;

    ? Ensures projects are on schedule and customer expectations are meet;

    ? Contributes to the development and Implementation of lean sigma deployment plan;

    ? Fosters the Lean Sigma culture within the organization;

    ? Designs, develops, implements and evaluates internal Lean Sigma Green Belt program;

    ? Delivers employee Lean Sigma Green Belt Training;

    ? Mentors Green Belt candidates on basic projects to reach certification ensuring compliance to methodology;

    Job Requirements

    At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.

    Bachelor Degree in engineering or business administration; OR an Associates

    plus 3 years relevant/related work experience; OR 6 years directly related work

    experience

    Minimum 1 year relevant experience and minimum of 1 year with process

    improvement experience.

    Lean training from the Shingo Institute, Shingijutsu, or other recognized program

    or company.

    Must pursue One Safran referent accreditation

    Basic knowledge of Lean Sigma, process improvement, and problem solving

    methodologies

    Basic Knowledge within functional areas of Continuous Improvement (at least one of the following fields):

    Office Lean

    Training of Lean Sigma

    Engineering Lean Sigma/Continuous Improvement (DFLSS, DFMA, VAVE,

    etc.)

    Quality/Manufacturing Lean Sigma /Continuous Improvement

    Able to organize complex thoughts and ideas into a cohesive, simple message.

    Ability to influence all levels of the organization without direct authority

    Consistent focus on safety, 5S, standard work and problem solving throughout

    value stream, with visible evidence of effectiveness.
