You will:
Run multiple assembly machines in secondary operations by following clear operator instructions.
Apply Lean Manufacturing methods and take an active role on the Elimination of Waste Team Program.
Perform visual inspections and gauge checks to the Control Plan and Quality check sheet.
Take ownership for the quality of parts from your work cell and escalate defects to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
Keep equipment and workspaces safe and orderly with strong 5S discipline.
Meet the demands of a high-volume automotive line without compromising standards.
Complete daily paperwork accurately: production reports, PPLH, scrap reports, and the 5S housekeeping sheet.
Scan and print SAP product labels; utilize SAP handheld scanners and printers.
Serve as a wastewater handler after completing the appropriate environmental training.
Support the company’s goals and objectives.
Carry out additional tasks as directed by the General Production Supervisor or Team Leader.
You bring:
Ability to use a computer and workplace technology including SAP handheld scanners, calculators, and printers.
Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 requirements.
