Title: Leader - Surgical Reprocessing Technician
Location: West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: M-F, 2:00pm - 10:30pm and every 3rd weekend

Pay Range: $33 to $38/hr.

Job Summary:  
Accountability for leading, managing, developing, supervising, and evaluating all aspects of the Materials Management Department which includes: ensures compliance of the departmental policies and procedures; assisting in interviewing, hiring, training, evaluation and disciplining of personnel in the department. Manages and collaborates relationships with Surgical Services leadership members, physicians, for the care of responsible equipment and disposables. Facilitates empowerment of staff in the implementation of creative and innovative materials, delivery models and stimulates a collaborative multidisciplinary team approach in the continuous improvement of patient care services. 

Required:

• Min Exp: 3 years
• Must have: DaVinci or Laparoscopic/Robotic experience
• Cert: CRCST and BLS from AHA
• High School Diploma
• Completion of a medical terminology course is helpful

Physical Demands/working Conditions:

• Extensive walking and standing are a requirement of this position.  
• Must be able to work in a flexible and changing environment.  
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and push loaded heavy carts for long distances.
