Responsibilities:

Inventory Control:

• Ensure inventory accuracy through the completion of effective control techniques including internal audits, cycle and audit counts
• Identify, quarantine, and report damaged or supplier recalled/withdrawn product to assure it is accurately captured and removed from inventory
• Ensure pick availability by responding to and finding a solution for any issue with a location error, product attributes, or location attributes
• Ensure the appropriate handling, removal, disposal, and processing of damaged or expired product
• Maintain warehouse slot integrity and responsible for slotting new or seasonal items
• Assist in the development of localized policies and procedures as related to the control of inventory
• Work with team members to reinforce the importance of inventory accuracy
• Assist with root cause analysis and offer solutions related to inventory inaccuracies

• Complete physically demanding work, including frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving with mechanical assistance up to 2,000 pounds
• Reach, bend, and stoop while performing work
• Work while standing for several hours at a time
• Prepare for a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and rotating shifts

• Partners with Supervisors to roll out and train new processes and initiatives as needed
• Recertifies experienced team members on systems, equipment, functions, safety and procedures
• Participates in the development and revision of SOP’s and Job Instructions to ensure consistency, efficiency and safety
• Ensures all training documents, materials and processes adhere to company SOP’s and policies
• Assists in developing, documenting and delivering safety programs and initiatives
• Participates in and lends process expertise toward Gemba walks, Kaizen events and other process improvement initiatives as assigned
• Capable of contributing in all outbound activities as needed, including picking, replenishment, loading, etc.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• High School degree or equivalent

• 2 years of warehouse experience

• Deep understanding of all operational flows in the warehouse 

• Thorough knowledge of systemic documentation and configuration

• Certifications: NA

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• 3+ years of warehouse experience
• Experience in inventory control or similar job function is a plus
• Material handling equipment proficiency
