The Opportunity

Capstone Logistics is seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Lead to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role works closely with site leadership to drive safety, productivity, training, and team performance while serving as a resource for warehouse associates throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pre-shift meetings
• Facilitate stretch-and-flex activities before each shift
• Conduct safety observations and reinforce safe work practices
• Support warehouse management with operational tasks
• Coach and mentor warehouse associates
• Assist with training and onboarding new employees
• Communicate effectively with site leadership
• Monitor workflow and productivity throughout the shift
• Support receiving, unloading, loading, and warehouse operations
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
• Help ensure operational goals and customer expectations are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or transportation experience
• Ability to lift and carry 25-75 pounds throughout the shift
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Team Lead, Lead Associate, Trainer, or similar leadership role
• Forklift and/or electric pallet jack experience
• Experience coaching, training, or mentoring employees
• Experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
