Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Lead UX/UI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA/Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will design and develop intuitive, responsive, and accessible user experiences for enterprise applications and AI-powered solutions.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead UX/UI Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for enterprise-grade web applications and AI-driven solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate requirements into engaging user experiences.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity designs using modern UX/UI design tools.

• Build and maintain scalable front-end applications using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Develop reusable design systems, component libraries, and style guides while ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance.

• Optimize application performance, usability, and user engagement through testing, analytics, and continuous UX improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field.

• 8-11+ years of experience in UX/UI design, front-end engineering, or full-stack application development.

• Strong hands-on expertise in React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web application development.

• Proven experience in UX research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and creating accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $55.00 per hour
