    Job Summary and Qualifications

    What you will do:

    • Supervises Radiology departments and front desk personnel within Medical Imaging.
    • Assists in performing imaging procedures in assigned modalities
    • Oversees the continuation of providing quality patient care while striving to reduce costs of assigned areas.
    • Maintains a steady workflow through their departments.
    • Ensures effective departmental operations in accordance with budgetary guidelines, departmental standards and all applicable regulatory requirements
    • Oversees the day to day staffing schedules and requirements of their department.
    • Performs radiology exams of patients maintaining a high quality of care and completes all functions associated with procedure in a timely manner.
    • Takes call as necessary.
    • Participates in PI plan.
    • Participates and assists department management with ACR accreditation activities and requirements, including quality assurance programs related to the requirements.
    • Maintains supplies and inventory.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
    • (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
    • (AB) Registered Abdomen
    • (RVT) Registered Vascular Tech
    • 3 years post-graduate experience and 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred
