We are currently looking for passionate, energetic, and nurturing Full-Time Early Childhood Teachers to join our team, with an immediate need in our Two-Year-Old Program. What You’ll Do
As a Goddard teacher, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, engaging environment where children feel confident to explore and learn. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing fun, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Helping children build confidence, independence, friendships, and social-emotional skills
- Supporting children through play, exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning
- Getting to know each child and supporting their individual needs and development
- Creating a warm, welcoming classroom environment
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers
- Communicating professionally and effectively with families and team members
- Participating in staff meetings, trainings, professional development, and school events
- Bringing your energy, ideas, creativity, and love of children to school each day!
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate:
- Meets MSDE/OCC Teacher requirements, including 90-hour certification
- Has previous experience working in an early childhood classroom
- Understands developmentally appropriate practices
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is dependable, patient, nurturing, energetic, and ready to learn
- Holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field — preferred, but not required
- CPR/First Aid and CDA certifications are a plus

The Goddard School provides the foundation to encourage a child's lifelong love of learning .In our warm, caring atmosphere, dedicated teachers support the development of children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Our year round program offers families the choice of either half day or full day schedule.
