Lead Toddler Teacher


Baldwin Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while supporting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children ages 2–3 years.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets Maryland licensing regulations.
  • Supervise children at all times and ensure their health and safety.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
  • Observe and document children's growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate classroom records and daily communication with families.
  • Collaborate with the Director and teaching team to support program goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:


  • Meets Maryland Lead Teacher qualifications for a toddler classroom (or is eligible to qualify).
  • Previous experience working with toddlers is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Passion for early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences.
